About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to manage a diverse portfolio of real estate legal matters. This role requires a strong understanding of real estate law, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to manage litigation effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in land acquisition, redevelopment projects, and RERA compliance.
Responsibilities:
Land Acquisition & Projects:
Conducting due diligence.
Drafting conveyance documents, development agreements (DA), lease agreements, and other legal instruments.
Litigation Management:
Overseeing litigation related to projects, coordinating with external solicitors/advocates.
Managing corporate documentation related to litigation.
Redevelopment Projects:
Handling redevelopment projects of co-operative housing societies.
Drafting various agreements and legal documents related to redevelopment.
Experience with SRA and MHADA redevelopment projects is highly preferred.
General Legal Drafting & Vetting:
Drafting and vetting partnership deeds, sale agreements, rectification deeds, and legal opinions.
RERA Compliance:
Practical knowledge of the RERA registration process.
Coordinating with external consultants on RERA litigation.
Liaison & Communication:
Liaising with government authorities and external legal professionals for litigation and other legal procedures.
Qualifications:
LLB or LLM or any graduate degree.
10-14 years of relevant experience in real estate law.
Preferred Skills:
Drafting skills (MOUs, Agreements, Legal Documents, Legal Notices)
Litigation experience (Litigation Matters, Non-Litigation)
Due Diligence experience
Vetting experience
Real Estate Laws expertise
