Statutory Audit Associate
Role & Responsibilities:
As a Statutory Audit Associate, you will play a crucial role in conducting statutory audits for a diverse range of clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Audit Planning: Developing comprehensive audit plans, identifying key audit areas, and assessing risk factors.
- Audit Execution: Conducting detailed audits of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
- Report Writing: Preparing clear and concise audit reports, summarizing findings, and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Client Interaction: Interacting with clients to gather information, address queries, and build strong relationships.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Experience: Relevant experience in statutory audit
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS), auditing standards, and tax laws
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
