About the Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Fitness Trainer/Gym Instructor to inspire and guide our members on their fitness journeys. You’ll play a key role in fostering a healthy lifestyle and building a thriving fitness community within our gym.
Responsibilities:
- Counsel gym members on healthy lifestyle choices, providing personalized guidance and support.
- Motivate and encourage members to achieve their fitness goals, creating a positive and inspiring atmosphere.
- Utilize our fitness tracking system (Fitness Force or similar) to monitor member progress and encourage regular attendance through follow-up calls.
- Organize and run engaging in-house fitness competitions during peak hours to boost member engagement.
- Implement and adhere to our zonal training system.
- Focus on membership renewals to ensure member retention and build a loyal client base.
- Build strong relationships with gym members, providing exceptional customer service and fostering a sense of community.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized fitness environment.
- Stay current with the latest fitness trends, techniques, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- [List specific certifications required, if any. Examples: CPR/AED, First Aid, Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) from a recognized organization like NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, etc.]
- Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, training principles, and nutrition.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Experience with fitness tracking software (Fitness Force or similar) is a plus.
- Passion for fitness and helping others achieve their health and wellness goals.
