Tricorder Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Logistics Executive to join our dynamic team! In this crucial role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of samples from hospitals, clinics, and labs to our diagnostics facility.
Job Summary:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize sample delivery, focusing on cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Manage rider schedules and ensure daily/weekly/monthly sample quotas are met through effective team leadership.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to guarantee on-time deliveries that meet quality standards.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and streamline supply chain operations.
- Maintain accurate records of samples in transit and ensure proper tracking and documentation.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers and carriers to ensure they meet Tricorder’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand Tricorder’s business model and implement efficient logistics processes.
- Develop a thorough understanding of service types, turnaround times (TATs), and strict adherence to client service guarantees.
- Oversee daily rider schedules and manage emergency service requirements.
- Achieve departmental targets through effective roster management and logistics team utilization.
- Manage logistics budgets and ensure cost control within organizational financial goals.
- Conduct regular evaluations of carriers and suppliers to maintain performance standards.
- Participate in inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing costs.
- Assist in order processing by ensuring accuracy and timely customer deliveries.
- Collaborate with senior personnel to establish and manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms.
- Support the planning and coordination of cost-effective and efficient shipping and distribution, adhering to all regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and transactions while complying with regulations and company policies.
- Partner with senior team members to address logistics issues, implement solutions, and prevent future occurrences.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (e.g., medical logistics).
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with medical diagnostics industry (a plus).
