About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fitness Center Attendant to create a welcoming and safe environment for our guests. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our fitness center, ensuring guests have a positive and enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized fitness center by wiping down equipment, removing towels, trash, and debris.
- Ensure adequate supplies of cups and water are available in the recreation area.
- Clean and sanitize fitness center restrooms and showers.
- Manage towel inventory: obtaining, folding, and stacking towels according to company procedures.
- Distribute lockers and towels to guests.
- Conduct inventory of supplies and equipment, notifying the supervisor/manager of low stock.
- Provide information to guests about recreation facilities and activities.
- Foster a fun and relaxing atmosphere.
- Enforce recreation facility rules and regulations for guest safety and welfare.
- Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager; complete 1 required safety training and certifications.

- Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
- Greet and acknowledge all guests, anticipating their needs and providing exceptional service.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues, answering telephones with proper etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships.
- Comply with quality assurance standards.
- Visually inspect equipment for defects.
- Perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, twisting, and reaching.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR Certification (Required)
- First Aid Certification (Required)
- Fitness Equipment Certification or Training (Preferred)
- Any certifications or training required by local and state agencies.
