Job Description: Senior Data Warehouse Architect
Lead the Data Revolution:
We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Senior Data Warehouse Architect to join our team. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of large-scale data warehousing solutions across diverse and complex environments.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, architecture, development, deployment, and operations of enterprise-level web applications within complex environments.
- Architect and implement large-scale, multi-organizational data warehousing solutions utilizing ETL tools, Machine Learning, and Data APIs.
- Analyze and document all product life cycle artifacts, including functional requirements, business cases, project charters, communication plans, test plans, and detailed functional specifications.
- Design and develop robust data models for optimal data storage and retrieval.
- Lead data migration projects from on-premises environments to cloud-based services.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries for RDBMS databases such as Oracle, Netezza, and Teradata.
- Leverage enterprise-grade ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator) to design and implement efficient data pipelines.
- Perform data preparation and cleansing activities for data warehousing initiatives.
- Integrate heterogeneous systems into the data warehouse seamlessly.
- Ensure data security and compliance by implementing robust data classification, access control, and security measures.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and manage project schedules, identifying key deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
- Confidently present and explain technical decisions, analyses, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
What You Bring:
- Extensive Experience: 15+ years of experience as an Enterprise/Solutions Architect with a proven track record in designing, developing, and deploying large-scale web applications.
- Data Warehousing Expertise: Deep understanding of data warehousing principles, including data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration techniques.
- Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions is a strong plus.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong SQL skills and experience with RDBMS databases (Oracle, Netezza, Teradata).
- Expertise in using enterprise-grade ETL/ELT tools (Talend, Informatica, etc.).
- Experience with data preparation and cleansing tools.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts 1 to diverse audiences.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
