Role: Financial Analyst

Role & Responsibilities:

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial performance of our Iron & Steel operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and ratio analysis to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, to inform decision-making.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts, monitoring actual performance against plans and providing insights to management.
  • Cost Control: Analyze cost structures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Support ad-hoc requests from management, providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual with a strong background in finance and accounting. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Education: CA (Chartered Accountant)
  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint), ERP systems, and data visualization tools
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
