Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Chartered Accountant to lead our finance and accounts department. This is a critical role for a seasoned professional with a strong accounting foundation, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Oversee and manage all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with business objectives.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Analysis & Insights: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to support informed decision-making.
  • Accounting Operations Management: Supervise day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking, and treasury management.
  • Tax Compliance & Management: Ensure compliance with income tax and GST regulations, manage timely tax filings, and represent the company in tax assessment proceedings.
  • Audit & Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors, manage audit processes, and ensure compliance with Company Law, EPF/ESI, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Planning & Budgeting: Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, and collaborate with banks for funding requirements.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting/payroll software, MS Office, and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of income tax, GST, Company Law, and FEMA.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
